About the Role
The Strategic Partnerships Manager is a strategic and critical role at the heart of Lunio’s growth ambitions. You will need to be well-versed in multiple disciplines to manage and collaborate with our cross-functional team and broad partner network.
The role will report to the VP of Strategic Partnerships, who is passionate about driving long-term mutually beneficial relationships with marketing and media agencies, adjacent technology vendors, governing bodies, and major media/technology platforms through consultative relationship building and account management.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Utilise 1P and 3P data sources to conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and partnership opportunities.
- Translate research findings and data analysis into actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making and inform the development of the partner program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy aligned with Lunio's objectives and key results.
- Define target partner profiles, value propositions, and engagement strategies based on market insights and partner feedback.
- Develop plans for partner recruitment, onboarding, and enablement, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Pipeline Generation
- Implement the overarching go-to-market (GTM) strategy by cultivating commercially-focused strategic partnerships with agencies, adjacent technologies, and industry ambassadors, facilitating access to large mid-market and enterprise businesses.
- Serve as an active and credible advocate within the marketing and paid media industries, raising awareness of Lunio, the challenges we address, and our product offerings.
- Foster warm opportunities that pave the way for sales success, enabling higher win rates and facilitating smoother closing processes.
Account Management
- Initiate the partner relationship through recruitment and onboarding, recognizing that nurturing partners to full investment in Lunio is paramount.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive account management plan for all onboarded partners, focusing on nurturing relationships and empowering partners to effectively sell on behalf of Lunio.
- Establish joint business plans (JBP) with partners to track and manage the success of partnerships, ensuring alignment with mutual goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews to monitor JBP progress and address any challenges or opportunities for optimization.
- Implement a robust learning and development plan to enable partners to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Act as a trusted consultant to partners, providing valuable insights and guidance to support their business growth and success.
- Strive to become the partner of choice within the industry, fostering trust, reliability, and mutual benefit in all partnerships.
Process
- Design comprehensive processes to facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and People teams, ensuring seamless alignment and synergy across departments.
- Partner with leadership to create and implement processes for the seamless integration of partnerships into all revenue operations systems, optimising efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish a robust reporting framework to track and monitor partnership health status, pipeline generation, and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) attainment, providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making and optimize performance.
Things you'll need
Experienced Digital/Paid Media Professional:
- Demonstrated track record in managing digital/paid media campaigns effectively.
- Proficiency in utilising various ad platforms and tools for campaign management.
Strong Understanding of Marketing Analytics, Attribution, and Measurement:
- Understanding of analytics tools to analyse campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with attribution models and methodologies to accurately measure the impact of campaigns.
Experience Collaborating and Managing Senior Stakeholders:
- Skilled in building and nurturing relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Capable of effectively communicating complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences.
Analytical Mindset:
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve using data-driven approaches.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for data analysis.
Strong Commercial Acumen:
- Sound understanding of business principles and the ability to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities.
- Proven ability to drive revenue pipeline and revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
Experience Working with Media Agencies:
- Prior experience collaborating with media agencies to execute successful campaigns.
- Understanding of agency dynamics and ability to navigate complex agency relationships.

Experience Working for a Media Vendor:
- Previous employment with a media vendor, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry landscape and market trends.
- Familiarity with the offerings and challenges of media vendors, particularly in the context of ad fraud prevention.
Existing Network Within Media Agencies:
- Established connections within media agencies that can be leveraged to facilitate partnerships and business opportunities.
- Proven ability to network and build relationships within the advertising industry.
Sales/Business Development Experience:
- Previous experience in sales or business development roles, preferably within the marketing technology or advertising industry.
- Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
Strong Understanding of Paid Media Strategy and Optimisation Tactics:
- Understanding of how to develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Understanding of how to optimise campaigns to improve ROI and performance metrics.

- £75,000 Base salary & £100K OTE
