Key Responsibility Areas:
Scientific Support (to Customers) :
- Evaluate teams’ ability (resource, skill and time) to engage on various projects and work with Marketing to ensure acceptance of feasible projects, timelines and milestones
- Provide strategic inputs to team and manage review mechanism to ensure timely and accurate responses to:
Product/Therapy area related queries from Customers (Doctors)
Customer requests for medical writing/ articles
Scientific Support (to PMT) :
- Provide strategic directives to the development of Scientific Communication kits for products
- Attend meetings to understand broad marketing strategy and translate these into content-directed inputs for the team
- Review content prepared by team and ensure Sop-checks are run for technical compliance
- Provide directive to better align content to the brand positioning
- Approve and sign-off finalized content
- Oversee the content creation for various internal programs and courses:
- Participate in annual exercise with marketing to finalize calendar of events
- Allocate projects to team conduct monthly review to track progress (tracker-based)
- Provide inputs to selection of course directors
- Lead meetings with course directors to chalk out program design (agenda & content)
- Review content and sample modules
- Provide topic area suggestions and review concept deck prepared by team
- Participate in quarterly cycle meetings by conducting scientific sessions
New Product Launch Support :
- Attend new product meeting to participate in planning process and provide scientific insights
- Allocate new products to suitable team members and review content prepared
- Ensure continued support for the initial 6 months – 1year
Knowledge Creation and Sharing :
- Ensure that product portfolios are a rich and updated source of product-related data
- Continuously scan journals, papers and industry newsletters to provide team with relevant insights during project work
- Conduct monthly medical update for PMT - to proactively share latest scientific updates in Pharmaceutical space to enhance their domain knowledge
- Ensure that team conducts regular and value-added KoL meetings in each region. Track and ensure growth of KoL database strength
- Attend relevant industry meets/conferences.
- Prepare MoM and share with internal teams
Desired Candidates :
Min. qualification required - MBBS
Desired qualification - MD, Pharmacology
Min. years of relevant experience required - 1 - 2 Yrs +
