We are currently partnered with some of the largest and most cutting-edge names in the market including Beazley and Markel - and our client base is growing rapidly. Over the last 3 years, we have grown from a 15-person start-up to a 140-person scale-up with teams in London and Warsaw.
Fresh off the back of a $73m Series B funding round from a16z and Battery Ventures, we are now expanding our product offering into the US insurance market, and establishing our US headquarters in New York.
Solution Engineering at hyperexponential
Our Solutions Engineering team provides a world-class technical capability and domain knowledge to our GTM function, with a mission to supercharge its three core pillars of Sales, Marketing, and Customer.
Our primary objective is to help our customers realise the full value of our platform – we specialise in handling only the most difficult and interesting problems that our customers face, where only a combination of technical depth, market expertise and Renew knowledge will do.
This journey begins long before the sales process, where we develop and maintain a growing suite of demo tools and models that we weaponise during the sales process to clearly communicate the benefits of hx Renew.
Your mission
As a Solutions Engineer you'll play a fundamental role in the day-to-day execution of the team's mission.
You'll be a trusted advisor to our prospects, using your excellent interpersonal skills and technical credibility to establish a rapport during the Sales process, catalysing a long-term relationship that will underpin the success of our future partnership.
You'll be the experts' expert, knowing hx Renew top-to-bottom, inside-out. You'll combine this with a deep knowledge of insurance technology to present 'the art of the possible' to various stakeholders: actuaries, underwriters, IT, and exec.
You’ll work closely across various teams including sales, engineering, marketing, product management, customer and model development. You'll be customer-centric but business-savvy: creating solutions using the company’s products and pitching them as suitable solutions.
What will you do?
Be an integral part of our AI team:
Work closely with our AI engineers to test and give feedback on the latest AI functionalities developed internally.
Build art-of-the-possible demos that use these AI capabilities, embedded seamlessly in (re)insurance workflows.
Running proof of concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the capability of Renew.
Planning and delivery of product demos to prospective clients with focus on persona based messaging.
Contribute to the creation of reusable sales assets to reduce sales cycle, such as:
Exploring innovative ways to create interactive demos.
Video libraries of product features/demos.
New template models that will expedite the POC process.
Work in sync with the product marketing and engineering teams to develop sustainable and commercially viable products.
Liaise with the marketing team to undertake demand-generating activities.
Work with the Model Development Team to share and adopt knowledge and best practices.
Support the answering of RFP’s and RFI’s for our sales team.
Role reports into the Lead Solutions Engineer.
