We are working with a local and respected client, situated on the Herefordshire/Powys border, who requires a Marketing and Event Lead to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the social media and marketing of their brands and supporting the marketing function across the business’ wider operations.
We are looking for a flexible self-starter, able to promote and host events and tours with confidence whilst collaborating across the multiple brands within the business, aligning their identity and promoting growth.
What you can expect:
- Salary: circa £32,000 (dependant on experience)
- Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (occasional requirement for flexibility depending on business needs)
- Site-based role
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (an additional day per year of service, up to 25 days)
What you will be doing:
- Aligning multiple businesses under one brand identity
- Managing social media across all channels, creating content
- Managing and updating their websites
- Promoting, curating, and organising the events and tours, with the ability to lead them personally when required
- Developing and presenting strategies to enhance and improve overall business performance
- Driving PR and boosting the brand visibility and reputation
- Developing and promoting brand experiences internationally, collaborating to increase participation and turnover, strengthening brand recognition
What we are looking for:
- Experience in Marketing and PR
- Highly customer-driven, with the confidence to engage at all levels
- Experience working across social media channels
- Commercially minded, with the ability to forecast and work within budgets
- Adaptable and hands-on with the ability to learn quickly
- An interest in the agriculture/food and drink industry would be advantageous
