Job Summary:
To join our team in Ahmedabad, we are now looking for an experienced US Accounting Executive with 3-5 years of experience. You will be an integral component of our accounting department's support team and will be responsible for ensuring the correctness and effectiveness of financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize specific accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, Xero) to process financial transactions, generate reports, and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling a wide range of accounting tasks, including:
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Journal entry preparation and upload
- Bank reconciliation (researching and recording outstanding cash items)
- Preparing management reports such as budgets, fixed assets, and variance reports
- Reconciling intercompany balances
- Preparing month-end closing reconciliation files
- Monthly billing
- Identifying and resolving outstanding invoices and other account discrepancies
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations) to ensure timely and accurate financial data.
- Maintain clear and concise accounting records to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting best practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software (e.g., Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to high standards and a positive work ethic.
- Experience working in a shared services environment (an advantage).
