Director - Creative & Licensing (Maternity Cover)
Join BMG Production Music as a Creative & Licensing Director, where you will be responsible for leading the TV/Film production music team, managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the team, whilst ensuring the development of new business, nurturing and maintaining existing relationships with our key TV/Film partners, providing creative searches and supporting various marketing activities and initiatives. You will be expected to attend meetings with key and new business accounts, collaborating with BMG's b2b departments: sync, bespoke and admin; pitching the catalogue to be licensed for moving media.
This is a 13 month FTC covering maternity leave, starting in October.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day team management of TV/Film team
- Account management of key accounts
- Creative music searches for client briefs
- Seeking new deal opportunities - blankets, admin, JV, etc.
- Organising industry events and meetings
- Managing marketing budget and team spend with VP
- Developing and maintaining CRM database
Your Profile:
- Experience working in sync and/or production music industry.
- Knowledge of MAC & PC functionality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to easily build relationships with others.
- Proven track record of bringing in new business.
- Enthusiastic and creative, keen to contribute ideas.
- Organised with excellent eye for detail.
It's a plus (not a must) if you also have experience managing a team and sync and or production music industry, experience working within the TV media industry and/or experience working with our clients on the production side (who include major broadcasters, ad agencies and TV production companies).
