Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Community Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and engaging our vibrant student community, facilitating their journey through GVC’s programs, and ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints. You will play a crucial role in student enrollment, organizing and hosting webinars and Zoom meetings, and keeping our students motivated and on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for students, fostering a supportive and engaging community environment.
- Enrollment Support: Guide prospective students through the enrollment process, answering questions, and providing information about GVC’s programs.
- Event Management: Organize and host webinars, Zoom meetings, and other virtual events to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Community Building: Develop and implement strategies to increase student interaction and participation within the GVC community.
- Communication: Keep students informed and on top of important deadlines, events, and opportunities through regular communication channels.
- Feedback & Improvement: Collect and analyze student feedback to continually improve the GVC community experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the academic and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and support for student initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in community management, student engagement, or a similar role, ideally within an educational or startup environment.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with students of all backgrounds.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools such as Zoom, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with a focus on detail and follow-through.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet, address student concerns, and proactively find solutions.
- Passion for Education: A genuine interest in helping students succeed and grow within the GVC community.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with different teams within GVC.
