The overarching objective of this role is to support and implement our digital strategy through delivering all digital communications to consumers and other stakeholders with an interest in our business, creating and nurturing relationships that benefit our brands. You will be joining a small but busy, resilient marketing team working across multiple brands for the group. A can-do attitude and the ability to successfully manage and support on multiple projects is essential.
We are in the process of implementing a new CRM and marketing automation platform across the business and the right candidate will support the Senior Marketing team with developing and implementing this strategy across the group.
Working closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Executive, the role is also accountable for the following:
Contributing to the long-term strategy and business objectives
- Support implementation of our SEO strategy to drive organic traffic through consistency, insights and content improvements
- Working alongside our digital media partner to ensure all digital advertising is planned, on time, and accurately promotes our brand and product portfolio
- Developing relevant and useful data segments within the CRM to enhance our marketing capabilities
- Support management and planning of the communication strategy including email marketing, SMS and social media
- Working with our social media partner, you will support management and strategy of an innovative social media plan that genuinely engages our target audience. Using a broad range of channels, you will look at how we can continue to wow and inspire including earned social media that may include interviews, vlogs, product reviews, brand affinity, shareworthy content and media connections.
- Contribute to the development of our content strategy, which is specifically designed to appeal to our target prospects. This will include blogs, video, virtual tours, copy, conversational bots and more.
- Come up with new ways to enhance our digital presence to ensure we continue to attract, engage and nurture qualified leads to meet specific targets, increasing traffic and lead conversion
- Maintain good channels of communication with agencies and internal teams to ensure that we have a transparent and active way to share best practice and knowledge while considering new ideas based on their merits and business case, within budgets
- Convert interest to leads via relevant and optimised data gathering using the right content to drive lead generation, while delivering the right balance of premium content to bring leads through the funnel
Day to day responsibilities
Ensuring product information is kept up to date on the website, providing an accurate representation of the brand and encouraging engagement
- Working with the Senior Marketing team and digital advertising partner to develop strong digital ad campaigns across YouTube, Google, Meta and other channels. The ability to actively contribute and add value to strategic discussions based on own knowledge and gathered insight.
- Tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of digital marketing activity to ensure we are meeting sales targets and business KPIs. Being able to confidently understand and interpret information and communicate it back with considered recommendations.
- Keeping our product portfolio up to date on property platforms such as Rightmove, New Homes for Sale and On The Market
- Support with developing our messaging so that it resonates with audiences, through a thorough understanding of demographics, needs, trends and data analysis, using landing pages and email marketing to engage and convert
- Develop and implement personalised email marketing that improves our engagement cross all database segments ensuring we achieve agreed KPIs for open, click and engagement rates
- Support and implementation of the customer journey, across all channels and platforms, ensuring we delight, engage and retain customers for the long term benefit of our business
- Develop reporting in conjunction with our digital agency that provides analytics to assess our performance.
Skills and experience required
This role is a great opportunity for a resourceful, adaptable and proactive digital marketing executive who is looking to develop their career over the next couple of years. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and will throw themselves into the learning opportunities that come with working in a fast-paced environment and industry.
Essential:
- At least 3 years’ experience within a similar role – either agency or in-house
- Nurturing customers through engaging and relevant content, across multi-media channels
- Hubspot CRM and marketing tools experience
- Creation and implementation of email marketing campaigns with A/B testing and results reporting
- Knowledge of the tools and techniques used to deliver successful digital advertising and PPC campaigns
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Adwords with the ability to actively contribute to strategic discussions
- Basic level of design using tools such as Adobe Photoshop / inDesign and a strong understanding of design best practice
- CMS experience (Drupal advantageous)
- Good knowledge of SEO tactics and best practice and ability to report on ongoing performance (SEMrush knowledge advantageous)
- Social channel analytics
- Knowledge of website design best practice and how to optimise pages for best customer experience
- Strong analytical skills and some experience in data analysis
Advantageous:
- Experience within the housebuilding sector
- Basic video production experience to support with our internal communication (vlogs) including use of Premiere Pro
- Good content writing and eye for detail
- Google My Business promotional tools
- SMS marketing
Additional requirements
- Driving license and access to own transport
- Minimum of 3 days a week in the office, located in Chasetown
- Occasional travel to developments or off-site meetings (mileage would be paid)
