Role & responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Java Development Lead with a strong background in Java programming and technologies. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. As a Java Development Lead, you will be responsible for guiding our Java development team, managing multiple projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Preferred candidate profile
- 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex software projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with Java frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and Maven.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful web services.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certifications in Java (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
- Exposure to ReactJS is plus.
- Exposure to DevOps is a plus.
