About the role:
This is an opportunity for an experienced solutions salesperson to join the commercial team to sell digital healthcare solutions to GP Practices, GP Federations, PCNs, ICBs and Local Health Boards across the Southern United Kingdom.
Applicant must be based in Greater London.
Reporting to the Vice President Commercial - Payers, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Achieve the assigned quarterly and annual sales targets
- Generate sales with new name accounts, where iPLATO has no presence, and by growing business with existing accounts and partners
- Build new value propositions and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Lead and manage the sales cycle from initial prospecting, through qualification, discovery, proposal development, pilot and contract negotiation
- Work with the Marketing team to develop and execute lead generation campaigns, for example, through direct communications, webinars, press and external events
- Assure timely quarterly reviews with large customers to confirm delivered value and to upsell new solutions
- Provide accurate and timely reports such as weekly territory forecasts and CRM updates
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- Minimum five years’ healthtech sales experience within NHS primary care
- Ability to engage with senior and board level clinical and operational executives at NHS Integrated Care Boards, NHS Wales, NHS England and third party digital and clinical organisations
- Track record of winning multi-year contracts with total order values from £500k to over £1m
- Experience in developing new ‘digital’ managed service solutions comprising software, services and third party solutions
- Excellent knowledge of the UK healthcare market complemented by an extensive network of personal relationships with influential executives across the NHS, pharmaceutical and other organisations
- Articulate, well presented and confident in presenting healthcare IT solutions to senior stakeholders
- Minimum five years’ track record of achieving sales targets in software solutions
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team player within distributed teams
Desirable:
- Experience selling digital solutions such as patient facing apps, population messaging, mental health, or other long term condition treatment
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline
