Senior Sales Engineer (based in Gujarat, India)

Organization: This is a newly created position in the organization to grow its expansion in India. This role reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager based and will be in charge of driving growth of product sales in Gujarat and assigned cities in Northern India.
Customer Industry Sectors: Industrial, Energy, Mining, Semiconductor, Agriculture, Automotive, Railway, Oil & Gas, Marine, and Technology
Your Responsibilities
- Generate business from new customers and expand the client base in Gujarat and Northern India.
- Generate leads and enquiries to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Nurture, build, and maintain relationships with existing customers and distributor.
- Oversee the complete sales cycle from inquiry generation to order booking and payment collection.
- Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Enhance brand presence among potential clients and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regional sales team and key distributor to visit customers and understand their needs.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) or related degree.
- 3-4 years of B2B sales experience in related sectors (industrial, automotive, railway, oil & gas, marine, technology).
- Experience in selling coupling, hoses, valves, pneumatic or hydraulic components is preferred.
- Good understanding of manufacturing industries in Gujarat and major cities in Northern India (Delhi NCR and surrounding areas).
- Strong sales acumen with a passion for creating impact and driving results.
- You are a strong networker who can build and maintain a solid internal and external network.
- You have good communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact easily and influence all levels of stakeholders.
- You are result driven and persistent to drive towards company targets.
- You are willing to travel extensively in the assigned regions.
- Able to clearly articulate technical specifications and conduct product demonstrations.
