PS Recruits are working alongside a recognised leader in the manufacture of specialist door systems, to recruit a National Sales Manager / UK Sales Manager to lead their sales team.
In this role, you will lead the sales team of Business Development Managers and the Client Relations team, to ensure they are hitting targets and driving sales, utilising a motivational style of coaching and management.
They offer a range of specialist internal door systems for primarily the NHS and Healthcare profession but also educational and pharmaceutical sectors.
Duties include:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets as agreed with the Commercial Director.
- Execute the agreed sales strategy through the sales team in line with the business plan to accelerate growth and optimise margin contribution from revenue generating activity.
- Own delivery against Sales KPIs.
- Recruit, train, motivate and manage a team to deliver consistent and reliable results.
- Set individual targets in line with overall Sales targets as set by the Commercial Director. Shadow and coach the sales team in the field to ensure the highest standards of client interaction, including CPD delivery.
- Deliver market and customer insights to develop an understanding of customers' needs and experience.
- Support individual sales processes where intervention is required.
- Deliver exceptional standards of meticulous pipeline management to maximise conversion.
- Support sound commercial decision making in respect of quote preparation.
- Ensure the consistent provision of reliable forecasts by the sales team to support the operational and strategic needs of the business.
- In partnership with Marketing, ensure the successful implementation and resourcing of the company events programme.
Required:
- Candidates should primarily have a proven coaching style, with quantifiable results (essential) performance managing regional teams.
- Ideally, you would come from a Specification Sales industry, with experience of selling and tendering into the NHS / Healthcare / Public sector professions.
- Internal construction sector or specialist doors related experience would be advantageous.
The role will require someone who can commute to the Head Office regularly (Hampshire) but is also happy to travel to support the BDMs in the field with at least a few days on the road each week across England and Wales.
You will be fully supported by the Commercial Director and receive all training to get you up to speed quickly. This is an established business with ambitious growth plans over the next 3-5 years.
