JOB DESCRIPTION:
The oversight requires a sophisticated operating model that allows for a stronger security posture centralized in a Security Operations Center (SOC). This role will oversee global operations with a focus on unifying the management of API calls, space exploration, and navigation. Responsibilities include integrating tools to provide a holistic risk management perspective, automating processes, and creating a platform for sharing content.
Areas to cover will include:
- Incident response and remediation
- Orchestrating and automating signals
- Prioritizing incident response
- Cyber threats intelligence and dark web monitoring
- Vulnerability management and exposure management
- Ransomware readiness testing and automated security controls
- Building a resilient cybersecurity culture
You will manage cybersecurity engineers, penetration testing engineers, cyber architects, network infrastructure engineers, and security analysts. A focus on the NIST cybersecurity framework and DoD requirements will be essential, particularly concerning controlled unclassified information (CUI) and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires the ability to communicate and exchange information, utilizing equipment necessary to perform the job.
ENVIRONMENT: This position will operate within the "ROCKET FUEL MISSION INTELLIGENCE DIVISION" of the organization, focusing on innovation, power, speed, and space exploration.

QUALIFICATIONS, KEY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLSET:
- 20+ years in cybersecurity and digital solutions engineering
- Proficiency in key generation, key lifecycle management, risk management, and risk assessment processes
- GSEC or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
- Certified Network Defender (CND)
- Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP)
- Health Care Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP)
- GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
- GIAC Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC)
- Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI)
- Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineer (IASAE)
- It’s prerequisite to be certified in one of the listed DoD 8570 Certifications.
