Head of Sales
Mon-Fri based in City of London area, no WFH available.
£80,000 - £100,000 salary + Benefits Package + Quarterly Bonus Scheme. Travel Paid.
Skilled Careers are currently working with a notable stone and tiling specialist who have a well-respected reputation for delivering high-quality interior and exterior projects in Central London.
This is a sub-contractor who works across Commercial, External, Hospitality and Residential sectors, and they have worked alongside the likes of Kier, Wates, Berkeley, and Galliford Try.
The company in question requires a strong Sales Director who ideally has contacts and existing relationships in their target market (Kitchen, Flooring, Joinery, and Fit Out) - to the high-end hospitality and residential and commercial sectors in London.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders and close deals.
- Be responsible for an annual budget of between £15m-£20m.
- Work across circa 20 deals per year with a value range of £0.5m to £5m.
- Work alongside the Business Development Team, ensuring pipeline numbers and weighted values are tracking budget for VCP.
- Constantly be working to improve conversion ratio.
Must Have:
- Proven track record of success in selling into the construction industry and winning large contracts.
- High level of verbal communication skills and networking.
- Ability to develop long-term customer relationships to create growth opportunities.
- Able to identify and qualify new business opportunities in line with our strategic plan.
- Present to all levels of seniority from individuals to groups.
- Influencing skills.
- Proven relationship management and networking abilities.
- High levels of personal energy with the ability to work both independently and as part of a passionate dynamic team.
