Co-owner, Dr Simon Chard, is an award-winning cosmetic dentist specialising in minimally invasive, biologically focused and technologically advanced cosmetic dentistry. He has been voted ‘Person of the Year’ by dentistry magazine, is the Past President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and alongside running Rothley Lodge Dr Simon is an international lecturer and a start up entrepreneur - co-founding PÄRLA Oral Care, a next generation oral care brand disrupting the dental sector with cutting edge ingredients and plastic free packaging.
The Role:
We are seeking a talented and creative Content and Social Media Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective social media strategy to enhance our brand presence, engage our target audience, and drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping our digital presence and driving our social media initiatives forward.
Responsibilities:
- Manage social media accounts of Dr Simon and Rothley Lodge Dental across various platforms, posting only appropriate and well thought-out content.
- Create engaging and relevant content for social media channels, including posts, images, and videos that align with our brand voice and objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive organic and paid social media strategy across various platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Responsible for creating a schedule plan that’s aligned with our vision.
- Manage social media communities by responding to posts, message enquiries, and comments in a timely manner.
- Research trends and preferences, staying up-to-date with emerging video trends and culture.
- Monitor, track and develop performance reports.
- Work with the internal team and across the business to look for creative content.
- Ensure all work is executed with creative flair and to the required brand standards and guidelines.
- Customise and configure CRM systems to meet specific business requirements and implement effective CRM strategies to drive growth and development.
- Manage performance of social media advertising, including Meta & Google into CRM system.
Person Specification:
- Excellent understanding of all major social media platforms (Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) and familiarity with their respective algorithms, best practices, audiences and business accounts.
- Basic understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Google and TikTok Ads platforms and campaign implementation.
- Strong knowledge of short form videography.
- Experience editing in-app content for Meta and TikTok.
- Videography experience – both filming and editing (Camera, iPhone or equivalent).
- Lighting knowledge – a sound grasp on the basic concepts of lighting.
- Creative thinker, with a passion in digital marketing and media.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Able to self-manage and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in dentistry, desired but not essential.
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Working hours: Part time, 25-30 hours a week, Monday – Friday, weekend and evening work required occasionally for key events and specific times of the year as necessary.
