Aim of the Role: As a core member of the Tower Hamlets GP Care Group CIC education team, this role will support the development and implementation of multi-disciplinary professional development sessions as they relate to primary and community health care workforce needs. To support the delivery of the Community Education Provider Network (CEPN) programme through events coordination support including the planning, advertising, and evaluation of the programmes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Coordination: Plan, organise, and execute training events, including selecting venues, setting dates, and arranging logistics. Coordinate with trainers, speakers, and participants to ensure smooth event delivery. Provide on-site support during training sessions, managing check-in, assisting trainers, and addressing participant needs.
- Scheduling and Calendar Management: Develop and maintain schedules for training sessions and ensure all stakeholders are informed of event timelines.
- Budget Management: Manage event budgets, including tracking expenses, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring cost-efficiency.
- Communication and Promotion: Promote training events through internal communications, social media, email campaigns, or other marketing channels. Liaise with participants, instructors, and vendors to communicate event details and respond to inquiries.
- Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting: Collect feedback from participants and trainers. Analyse event outcomes, track participant satisfaction, and prepare post-event reports.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Coordinate with vendors for venue setup, catering, and equipment. Ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all events meet regulatory and organisational standards. Maintain records of event details, contracts, and budgets.
