We are looking for two Paralegals to join our in-house legal team at Marks & Spencer, focusing on our Property portfolio.
These roles will provide and manage the provision of legal services in relation to real estate, providing support to our in-house property legal team and assisting in legal solutions that enable our commercial colleagues to make informed decisions.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Manage payments of completion monies and payments of invoices.
- Manage the submission by external law firms of SDLT and post completion matters.
- Carry out title investigations, searches and deduction of title.
- Assist with maintaining our title deeds and document systems.
- Support department-wide and commercial team initiatives, such as the legal intranet, learning and development, know-how/property precedents, templates, and department social events, conferences.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
- Degree or qualification or experience equivalent to a degree with an interest in proceeding to qualifying as a Solicitor.
- Knowledge and expertise in real estate preferable.
- Ability to develop strong relationships.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Strong expertise in analysing commercial arrangements.
