The role
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join the Group who will support the Coversure Franchise network marketing plan. Reporting into our Franchise Marketing Manager, with a strong dotted line to our Franchise Director you will work in partnership with key Franchisees, Office Managers and key Franchise segments to develop marketing capability within the Franchise network at a local level through coaching and advice.
The success of this role will be reliant on delivery of a consultancy-based solution to Franchisees, upskilling and enabling them and their teams to run effective marketing campaigns to win new business, achieve cross sell growth, develop brand strategy and awareness at a Franchise level.
The role is primarily home based but occasional travel will be required to visit Coversure offices based throughout the country in addition to attending monthly team meetings at our London and Huntingdon offices.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work in collaboration with the Franchises Development team and within the segmentation framework to deliver consultancy to key Franchisees on marketing activities to help them build value within each Franchise business.
- Working within the Franchise segmentation model, coach, support and advise individual Franchisees and their teams to help them build and execute effective marketing plans to achieve:
- Improve cross-sales percentages throughout the network developing tool kits and sharing best practice where appropriate.
- New business growth which is aligned to the overall Franchise growth strategy for the business.
- Increasing brand recognition within the local or target marketplace.
- Work in partnership with the Central marketing team at Jensten to ensure that centrally produced campaigns are aligned to Coversure’s objectives and provide the right tools to enable Franchisees to gain maximum benefit.
- Provide guidance and support to groups of Franchisees within the segmentation model on specific marketing activities.
About you
As our Marketing Executive, you will need to be a creative thinker, have the ability to build good working relationships both internally and externally, to disseminate complex detail into simple and straightforward communications and the capability to multi-task.
We are looking to attract somebody with proven experience of managing B2C/B2B campaigns, ideally within financial services (other sectors will be considered) and the ability to understand the proposition, products and services being offered.
If you have experience in some of the core areas but not all, we encourage you to apply as having the right attitude and approach to daily tasks and ability to deal with a range of people is equally important.
You’ll also be or have:
- A marketing background and experience is essential, with insurance industry knowledge being beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
- Be extremely organised with a strong attention to detail and inquisitive about your stakeholders business area and goals, especially regarding strategic planning.
- Have experience of creating and delivering marketing campaigns, website development, managing online presence and creating content relevant for the client base.
- Strong IT skills with experience of GA4, SEO, PPC and social media platforms.
- Experience of creating content for the company website, social media, email campaigns and events.
- The ability to plan and organise events.
- Degree level educated and/or a Marketing qualification would be beneficial.
