Job Summary
We are delighted to be assisting a key strategic partner with the recruitment of a new Marketing Director for a leading Architectural and Engineering firm based in Cardiff. Our client is a prominent player in the sector, known for its innovative design solutions and commitment to excellence. As they continue to grow and expand their influence, they are seeking a dynamic Marketing Director to lead their marketing strategy and drive brand development.
Key Roles:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the firm’s business objectives and enhances its market presence and brand reputation.
- Brand Management: Oversee the development and management of the firm’s brand identity, ensuring consistency and coherence across all marketing channels and materials.
- Lead Marketing Team: Manage, mentor, and inspire the marketing team, providing guidance and support to achieve high performance and career growth.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs, using insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
- Campaign Execution and Evaluation: Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns and initiatives, measuring their effectiveness and making data-driven adjustments to optimise results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Create and implement a strategic marketing plan that supports the firm’s growth objectives. Define clear goals and KPIs, and ensure all marketing activities are aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage Brand Identity: Ensure the firm’s brand is effectively communicated and maintained across all platforms and materials. Develop and oversee branding initiatives to strengthen market position and enhance brand recognition.
- Lead and Develop Marketing Team: Recruit, train, and lead the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct Market Research: Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and client preferences to inform strategic decisions and marketing approaches. Use data to identify opportunities and drive strategic marketing efforts.
- Implement and Monitor Campaigns: Design and execute marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and events. Track campaign performance, analyse results, and adjust strategies as needed to maximise impact and ROI.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally as Marketing Director or similar, within the architectural, engineering, or related professional services sectors.
- Strong track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth and enhance brand presence.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding and developing a marketing team.
- Proficiency in market analysis and research, with the ability to translate insights into effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to manage brand identity and oversee multifaceted marketing initiatives, with a focus on achieving measurable results.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £120,000.00 per year
