We have a fantastic opportunity for a Relationship Manager to join our team in Staffordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for the PTLO (Patient Transport Liaison Officer) team in various outpatient settings across the Staffordshire contract area.
Please note, this is a 6 month fixed term contract.
The PTLO team are responsible for helping to bridge the gap between hospitals and our operations team on a daily basis. The team are integrated within the central patient hubs (co-ordination centres). They are involved in site and bed meetings to understand demands placed upon the hospital, supporting with providing excellent service and patient flow.

Your duties include:
- This role requires a dedicated and motivated manager to join our specialist Patient Liaison team and lead the team forward with our ongoing service developments.
- You will be expected to undertake a wide range of roles and responsibilities which include clinic management, be responsible for managing a team following the relevant policies and procedures at all times.
- You will be accountable for all administrative services, ensuring local and national targets are met and highlighting and managing capacity issues as they arise.
- You should enjoy working with and meeting new people as you will be part of a varied multidisciplinary team and will have some direct patient contact.
- Alongside the management of staff this role is primarily working on a day to day basis facilitating the smooth flow of patients through the system ensuring outstanding patient care and service is met; you would be the focal point for escalations from the clinics and attend bed meetings with reports on Sit Reps and updates, this includes using various EMED IT systems on a daily basis.
