As Junior Content Designer, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality, creative, engaging communications throughout the organisation. Projects will be aimed at a wide range of audiences across external and internal channels, representing all areas of the organisation – from Technology and Business, to Employer Brand, HR, Events, our CEO Office and Board.
This role is integral to how we develop and produce creative storytelling, to showcase what we do, and which brings Vodafone, industry news and business performance to life for our diverse audiences. Your role will involve working as part of a team and collaborating with cross-functional teams, advising and creating compelling visual content, across both Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365.
No day will be the same, you will work across multiple projects, some long term, some last-minute. As a team we strive to deliver creative excellence across all of our projects. As the remit of the studio continues to grow, the role has huge scope to get involved in much, much more.
What you’ll do
- This role is for a creative-minded person who can work across multiple skill sets to bring to life stories to a good standard. Through research, ideation and execution taking stakeholders on the creative journey.
- The candidate should be able to develop creative ideas to bring a story to life, using Adobe Creative Cloud to create engaging content.
- Corporate design and templating for Board presentation packs and comms, collaborating closely with the CEO Office.
- Key contributor to the day-to-day creatives used for social media posts, internal comms and dotcom.
- Event support in the form of look and feel and PowerPoint design.
Who you are
- Adobe Creative Cloud, skills in Illustrator, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Corporate design and templating knowledge with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- After Effects and Premiere Pro, hand drawn illustration and Viva Engage advantageous but not essential.
- Experience of working with and developing brand guidelines.
- Fluent and exceptional written and verbal English.
- 1 – 3 years experience in a design, brand, creative direction, content execution, in-house or agency side.
- Ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships within the team.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- A portfolio demonstrating desirable skills across both Adobe and Microsoft.
