We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team! We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience providing desktop support in a corporate setting preferably financial services or trading floor. This is a long-term part time indefinite contract role with 20 hours per week required/expected. Dental, Life, Medical, Paid Time off, and Vision benefits will be included.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Mid-Level experience with Win10 OS, MS Teams, MS 365 Products, Iphone Basics, Wyse Terminals
- Understanding of Virtualization, VDI theory, hands on experience with AV equipment
- Build laptops and desktops
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
- Recommend hardware and software improvements
- Track customer issues and resolutions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields specifically financial services
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to communicate effectively with a management team that is not onsite
