Job Description
We are recruiting for a full-time Customer Service representative as we are expanding our Customer Service team.
The role reports to the Head of the Customer Service team with dotted reporting to the Head of the Retail Customer Service.
As a member of the Customer Service team, you will provide exceptional customer service, offer expertise and advice on a vast product range, assist with projects, general sales tasks and reports.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to
Short-Term (in the first 6 or up to 12 months)
- Order entry of purchase orders as allocated
- EDI order processing
- Processing backorder reports on a regular basis for customers
- Ad-hoc duties with the willingness to take on additional tasks that may become available
Long-Term (after the first 6 or 12 months) – additional tasks to the ones above
- Answering calls, providing quotes and data input to ensure service excellence is maintained
- Providing product knowledge and offer solutions to customers’ needs.
- Help with filling tender sheets for projects
Qualifications
Skills and experience (Must be able to clearly demonstrate the following attributes)
- 5 years + experience in a Customer Service or Admin role, ideally in the hospitality or houseware space
- High level of customer service with a strong work ethic
- Organisational skills
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, confident, friendly demeanour, with a can-do attitude.
- Genuine desire to help others and willingness in driving the business forward.
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to learn new Software quickly, ideally previous experience in operating in Microsoft Dynamics ASX
