Purpose
Be the Finance manager of the APAC region within IDEMIA Smart Identity Division. This region currently comprises 3 legal entities based in Nepal, Malaysia and Philippines. First part of the mission will be to take over or put in place all the financial processes for these entities as we have to become independent from the other divisions. In a second step we have great ambitions for this region and therefore are looking for an individual capable of accompanying this growth.
Key Missions
Governance
• Hire and manage an accountant and design the finance organization of the region
• Manage the outsourced accounting of Nepal. Manage directly the accounting of legal entities in Malaysia and Philippines
• Very alert on associated business risk such as tax, new regulatory requirement which could impact business etc.
• Review and monitor existing policies, practices and processes to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently (Procurement, Expense Claims, AP, Payment etc)
• Recommend and drive improvements to gain efficiency
• Active participation in global projects related to streamlining and/or improving processes and management system
Financial and Tax Reporting
• Handle timely monthly and annual closing procedure . Responsible for accuracy, relevance and timeliness of book of accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS Financial Reporting.
• Review all accruals (bonus, commission and etc) and ensure accuracy of provision.
• Review AP and expenses to ensure necessary checks and balances are in place.
• Review AR and ensure accuracy of bad debts provision and drive DSO down.
• Ensure accurate monthly reporting and that all Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accurately reflect the current state of affairs.
• Forecast long term cash to support business growth (Capital injection etc.)
• Support month-end, quarterly and year-end close process.
• Manage and comply with local reporting requirements and tax fillings.
• Annual budget preparation.
External Audit / Internal Audit / Group Reporting Package
• Coordinating with external auditors and internal auditors. Ensure external audit is completed and any recommendations are implemented.
• Ensure Internal Audit recommendations are carried out and completed.
• Ensure Group Reporting Package is accurately and timely prepared and submitted to Headquarter on a monthly and annually basis.
• Perform accounts analysis and reasonableness test for audit purposes
• Ensure local statutory accounts is accurately prepared according to local GAAP
Business Partnering
• Business Support to sales team
• Provide appropriate advice to sales on Margin analysis & efficient deal structuring
• Provide monthly financial analysis
Ad-Hoc Queries, Projects and reporting
• Respond to ad hoc queries on financial figures & processes
• Participate in projects as needed
• Handle any other duties as assigned on an ad hoc basis

Microsoft Office, SAP B1 would be a plus

Hierarchy Reporting
This role is part the Management and Statutory Reporting Department headed by the Head of management and Staturory Reporting based in Paris, France. The Head of management and Staturory Reporting reports directly to the CFO of the ISI Division.
