Description
The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for designing and delivering educational programs for the sales and customer care teams of DiscountMugs, Bel Promo, and other lines of businesses. This role includes conducting skills gap analyses, preparing learning materials, and evaluating results post-training. The ideal candidate will work closely with team members to identify challenges and recommend strategies to enhance productivity.

Training Facilitation: Lead new hire training and oversee the nesting process to ensure smooth onboarding.
Skills Gap Analysis: Identify areas for improvement through thorough skills gap analyses.
Curriculum Design: Develop training curricula within specified timeframes and budget constraints.
Educational Materials Production: Create both physical and digital educational materials, such as training videos and manuals.
Performance Review: Conduct individual and team performance review sessions to discuss strengths and weaknesses.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Track sales objectives and results, collecting feedback from trainees and managers to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
Impact Reporting: Report on the impact of training programs, including sales achieved and areas of improvement.
Knowledgebase Maintenance: Update and maintain the training knowledgebase with the latest materials and curricula.
Calibration Sessions: Conduct regular calibration sessions to ensure consistent training quality.
Transaction Evaluation: Evaluate sales and customer service transactions to provide constructive feedback.

Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a relevant field.
Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a similar role. Prior experience in a sales position is required. Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person and web-based learning activities. Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and presentation abilities. Additional certification in training is a plus.
