Ideal Candidate Skills
- Previously worked or educated in a related industry: architecture, design, joinery, interior design, sales, marketing
- Knowledge of design-related software: Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.
- Knowledge of the building or joinery trade
Necessary Qualities/Skills
- Good manner with customers
- Previously worked in a customer-facing role, preferably with the general public
- Organised with good communication skills
Candidate Responsibilities (Definite)
- Be front of house for customers entering the showroom
- Help customers with their design
- Estimating jobs based on a surveyor report
- Quote jobs and send them to customers
- Follow up on quotations and liaise with customers
- General customer service tasks: answer calls, take enquiries, process payments, process orders, print delivery notes
Candidate Responsibilities (Possible)
- Produce content for social media profiles
- Produce design drawings for customers
- Attend site at times to help with customer design
- Process some supplier orders where necessary
