We are delighted to be supporting a thriving financial services business in their search for their first Head of Reward to join their London HQ. This newly created role would suit either a Senior Reward Manager looking to step up, or an existing Head of Reward looking for a new challenge and leverage experience already gained within financial services. Key functions will be to lead the reward agenda globally (c500 staff) and advise the business on the best structures and processes to ensure this business continues to thrive. Reporting into the CPO, key duties will be:
- Drive a programme of work that promotes a diverse workforce, supporting the Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging goals to attract and retain talent, building the employee value proposition and talent differentiation.
- Develop and utilise different reward levers to motivate and engage employees throughout their career journey, reflecting the changing requirements of the business.
- Leverage technology to support, evolve and enhance the employee experience of all reward processes, working in collaboration with the CPO and Business Partners.
- Evaluate and enhance the job family as required, assessing cost and value.
- Coach, mentor and develop x3 Manager grade team members (Reward, Payroll, HR Ops) who have their own direct reports.
- Oversee the delivery of all cyclical and ad-hoc reward projects, including the annual pay review, bonus award, equity plan, benefits review and firm-wide reporting and regulatory filing (PRA, FCA).
- Provide HRLT and the business stakeholders with comprehensive MI on employee trends and the wider market and market trends on reward.
- Influence the reward team on reward philosophy based on in-depth knowledge of reward and business challenges.
- Educate the wider HR team and business leaders on reward principles, governance, policy and processes.
As a result, the business is looking to meet with experienced reward leaders with proven success across compensation & benefits within financial services (or FinTech/InsurTech). Key is a highly collaborative individual who will build relationships and seeks to get the best out of people (this role will have x3 direct reports). The business values curiosity, so someone who is aware of new approaches and not afraid to innovate. Strong influencing skills are required with the ability to create data-driven business cases and present to RemCo/C Suite audiences. Finally, this person needs to be creative, have a passion for delivering a high-quality service and will go the extra mile to get things done well. In addition to the above salary, there is a very generous (40%) annual bonus, extensive benefits, and the business is happy to buy out bonus/unvested share awards. Location is Monument/Bank tube.
