This leading international law firm is looking for a Graduate Recruitment and Development Manager to lead with its early careers offering.
Forming part of a global business, this role will act as the main graduate recruitment and development point of contact for all staff, including key internal stakeholders, providing a full and comprehensive service to support the effective recruitment, management, development, and qualification of trainee solicitors and legal apprentices in the London office.
From attraction to selection, this role will see you managing all aspects of the graduate recruitment and development function, including employer branding, maintaining the content of the graduate recruitment website, legal apprenticeships, trainee vacation schemes, and open day selection and offer processes.
This role will also involve working with the D&I Manager for Europe, managing and providing advice regarding the various diversity programmes in place. You will be instrumental in managing diversity partnerships both internal and external, and serve as a firm ambassador at events and networking forums.
On the development side, you will manage the monthly seat allocation process and the trainee solicitor qualification process to meet business needs and trainee aspirations, including handling all SRA paperwork and checks. You will lead on pastoral care, ensuring that career plans and paths are identified, and be the first point of contact for all developmental needs.
The firm is looking to meet with candidates who have experience working in a Graduate Recruitment function in a law firm, with a full understanding of the processes involved in trainee solicitor recruitment and development. You will have a proven track record of developing and implementing initiatives that contribute to achieving business objectives, as well as a high level of oral and written communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to quickly establish credible relationships at all levels.
