We are currently looking for a Senior Power Platform developer to join our Delivery Team in the UK (Office locations: Birmingham or London). We offer the option to work hybrid or remote.

The Senior Power Platform developer will be a key member of our Delivery Team, with a specific focus on leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to create innovative solutions for our clients. As a Senior Power Platform developer , you will design, develop, and deploy workflows that streamline business processes, increase efficiency, and enable digital transformation across a wide array of industries.
Within this role, your responsibilities and tasks will include:
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform services such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and establish best practices.
- Provide insights and strategies for process optimization utilizing Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.
- Lead the full lifecycle of projects, from conception and design through to development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for internal teams and clients to ensure effective adoption of automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to automation solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and evaluate their applicability to current or future automation projects.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on development practices within Power Platform.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Power Platform within the organization, providing leadership and direction for automation initiatives.
- Ensure and maintain regular close client contact.
- Hold weekly project update meetings on the status of the technical implementation of the automation(s).
- Actively implement best practices.
- Communicate and manage requirements with the clients' service department.
Requirements
- Professional Training in Computer Science, Business & Information Systems Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent with minimum duration of 2 years.
- At least 3 years' experience, of which at least 3 have been within software development or related.
- Demonstrated development skills, preferably .NET, C#, VBA or Java.
- Experience with other application/automation and integration tools (such as UiPath, Celonis, Appian, etc.).
- Understanding of AI and Cognitive Services to enhance automation solutions would be a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure strong customer relationships.
- Understanding of customers' processes, with experience in process consulting being advantageous.
