This role offers a unique opportunity to join an exciting programme which is delivering a digital platform change across a major Global Travel organization. We are on the lookout for a talented midweight UX/UI Designer to join our team. If you are passionate about designing user-friendly and visually compelling digital experiences, we want to hear from you. This role involves working on large-scale design systems and e-commerce projects within a collaborative and agile environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale multi-brand design systems.
- Design user interfaces and prototypes for e-commerce websites and web applications using Figma.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all designs by utilizing pre-built design libraries.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth design hand-offs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to implement UI components using HTML, CSS, and NextJS.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Engage in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Deliver projects within tight timeframes, while working on multiple projects at a time.
- Conduct user research to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Develop design solutions that align with user needs and business objectives.
Employm ent Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years in UX/UI design within a corporate environment.
- Experience in building and maintaining large-scale design systems.
- Proven track record in designing e-commerce websites and web applications.
- Working within the Travel and Tourism sector is a benefit
Skill Requirements
- Strong creative, organizational, and time management skills
- A detail- oriented self-starters who can easily multitask and who understands project delivery stages
- Strong experience in digital frameworks– such as HTML and CSS
- Strong experience in design tools– especially Figma
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- It is also important for digital designers to be team players able handle feedback and implement suggestions to improve designs
