Hadlow Primary School is looking for a skilled, knowledgeable, and dynamic person to join our top team!
The position requires working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil on the SEND register in KS2.
The ideal candidate will be positive, highly motivated, and flexible. They will show care and nurture for the pupil, ensuring that their emotional needs are met. They will be passionate about education and motivated to provide a fully inclusive curriculum offer. They will strive to support the child with their happiness, progress, and success within the mainstream setting.
Previous experience of working with children in a school setting would be preferable, but any experience with SEN would be useful.
The candidate may be required to support other vulnerable pupils in the school through in-class support and personalized mentoring opportunities.

This position is for term time only.
The role is for 30 hours per week, 8.30am-3.30pm, with an hour's lunch break.
This is on an annual fixed-term contract, linked to funding allocated to the pupil. This is likely to be extended if the candidate successfully completes their probation.
