Summary
Sitting within the FP&A team in the Finance function, you will have primary responsibility for owning the compensation model including actuals vs plan cost and headcount analysis and creating the annual compensation plan in collaboration with heads of departments.
You will also have responsibility for providing business support for the HR function including providing financial analysis and advice to support the strategic goals and operational efficiency of the HR department.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility of monitoring actual vs plan compensation
- Ownership of the Plan/Forecast Headcount & Cost model
- Run the annual and quarterly headcount review discussions with heads of department
- Perform additional compensation analysis for expense allocations
- Manage the quarterly recharging of compensation to Group
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports to monitor the performance of the HR function against key metrics and targets.
- Support the preparation and review of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the HR function, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and financial objectives.
- Analyse and evaluate the financial impact of HR policies and initiatives, such as compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, learning and development, and employee engagement, and provide recommendations to optimize the return on investment.
- Collaborate with the HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls for all HR-related transactions and activities.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that involve the HR function, such as mergers and acquisitions, organizational changes, and process improvements.
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Four years of experience as a business partner or expense accountant
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
