Hometrack has an established and loyal customer base of mortgage lenders, housing associations, private rental companies and other users of property data and software.
Our Pre-Sales team works with our sales team, product managers and project delivery teams to grow revenue from new and existing clients.
The consultant will work on multiple commercial propositions simultaneously, with lots of variety in the role.

This is an ENTRY LEVEL ROLE, so previous commercial or sales experience is NOT expected. Full training will be provided. We are hiring for ATTITUDE more than current aptitude.
To excel in this role you must be client-focussed, have a fine attention to detail and be both creative and a “completer/finisher”.
The role would particularly suit someone with 18+ months experience in financial services OR a similar minimum period in a software company or a data company. It would also suit candidates keen to make a first move from business analysis, project management or consultancy, into a sales/commercial role, where they can gain experience and accelerate their career.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the development of go-to-market documents including sales decks, software demos, benefits cases and other promotional materials for new and existing software and data products.
- Help respond to structured tender (RFP/RFI/ITT) opportunities.
- Participate in client workshops to identify needs and opportunities.
- Support Account Directors and Managers in closing individual sales opportunities.
- Develop an understanding of the property and mortgage sectors.
- Support B2B marketing activity to generate a healthy sales pipeline for the company.
Essential skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative thinker who is also a completer/finisher.
- Self-starter, with good time management; comfortable working across several different activities simultaneously.
- A strong academic record would be viewed as indicative of capability to quickly learn complex topics.
Beneficial skills:
- An interest in banking, mortgage lending or property.
- An interest in B2B software.
