ABOUT THE ROLE:
Plusgrade is searching for a Product Solutions Engineer to join our growing team to collaborate with Partners to understand their business needs, leverage Plusgrade’s portfolio of solutions to exceed expectations, and drive innovation. Our Product Solutions Engineer works at the intersection of product, engineering and partner success to help our Partners succeed in surpassing their revenue goals by utilizing Plusgrade products.
As a Product Solutions Engineer you will partner with different cross-functional teams and enable the full potential of Plusgrade products and functionality. You are an external face of the Product team and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to drive an optimal performance of our partners while also influencing innovative potential future products and features.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Work directly with our Partner to empower them to get the most out of Plusgrade products by understanding their business needs and goals and then developing and sharing best practices to increase ROI and expand product adoption.
- Understand and leverage deep knowledge of Plusgrade product, technologies, and business to apply Plusgrade’s large portfolio of solutions to address Partner needs.
- Identify Partner needs during discovery and support sessions, run workshops, and contribute to case studies that focus on how to utilize Plusgrade products to their fullest potential.
- Lead training and Q&A sessions with Partners and key stakeholders to empower them to utilize Plusgrade products to the fullest.
- Collaborate closely with Product to determine which Partner requests we should and shouldn’t support, and work with the Partner Success team to set expectations with Partners.
- Serve as internal technical expert on Plusgrade’s standard products for our Partner Success and other internal teams.
YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:
- 2 to 3 years of proven success in a solutions engineering role, especially in high-growth environments within categories like e-commerce, travel, and customer loyalty
- Ideally the candidate will have experience working in the travel industry and will have worked directly with airlines, cruise, or rail.
- Strong entrepreneurial attitude to help innovate and execute product initiatives which in turn will create amazing traveler experiences across the Customer journey.
- Able to work with limited supervision and be accountable for actions and decisions and show proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) effectively with external stakeholders ranging in functional expertise from engineering and product to business as well as with seniority levels up to executive management.
- Ability to travel internationally to meet with Partners in their regions (up to 50% of the time)
- Bachelor's degree in, Product Management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
