Life on the team
We provide intermediate to advanced level desktop installation, configuration, support and troubleshooting services. We support multiple businesses across the UK with their IT services, with our Engineers working at customer sites to provide hands-on support.
What you’ll do
- The role will be based onsite at one of our clients’ offices in London.
- Configuration, support and troubleshooting services in the Wintel environment.
- Providing basic desktop support, offering simple fixes and resolving known errors.
- Provide effective and efficient customer service to the customer.
- Communicate with the customer, keeping them informed of progress to avoid escalations.
- Become hardware and software skilled and accredited through the appropriate vendor training programmes.
What you’ll need
- An understanding of desktop/laptop technologies and Windows operating systems.
- Desire to further your career in desktop support in a corporate setting.
- To be eligible for SC and DV clearance.
- Customer-focused, happy to provide great service to users in a professional environment.
- Adaptable and welcoming of change, communicating change to customers.
- Great customer-facing skills with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels.
- Ability to develop technical skills.
