This is a Hybrid role, the Credit Underwriting team work from our London (Shoreditch) Offices 3 days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting the Credit Underwriting team with shaping, creating and improving existing and new processes, monitoring and automation based on credit data and underwriting insights.
- Helping to facilitate change in underwriting strategy to improve processes and efficiency.
- Monitoring the UK and US portfolios.
- Facilitating Risk initiatives and pilots by using credit data insights allowing for improved accuracy of decisions within company appetite.
- Managing and mentoring the wider team to assist in their understanding of automations and new processes.
- Interacting with other internal teams to review all enquiries and provide credit insight and knowledge.
- Assisting in internal reviews and external audits.
- Staying up to date on industry trends and supporting new analytics initiatives that support and contribute to business goals.
We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of underwriting and data analytics to facilitate improvements in credit data usage, automation and monitoring within the underwriting team.
- Experience in credit and data analytics.
- Ability to tell insightful and compelling stories with data.
- Driven and dedicated - willing to operate in a fast-moving environment, taking personal accountability for initiating and driving meaningful change.
- Smaller company/fintech and US market experience is a major plus.
