AM Alternatives Engineering is a core part of the private-side alternative investment platform, working to build robust technology platforms and data-driven investing capabilities to enhance our ability to deliver class-leading returns globally.
Deal Manufacturing Engineering focuses on facilitating Goldman Sachs' ability to find, evaluate, price, structure, and execute private investing opportunities across various sectors. We collaborate with a diverse set of users, data consumers, and stakeholders.

Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM subjects
- 3+ years of experience as a full-time software developer
- Excellent programming skills in at least one of the following languages: TypeScript, Python, Java
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational database technologies
- Experience building interactive web applications with React/Angular/CSS, and interest in new technologies (e.g., AWS)
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and strong sense of ownership
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work as part of a global team
- Strong communication skills to present complex technical ideas to varied audiences
- Interest in finance (pre-existing knowledge is a plus, but not required)
