Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead Grosvenor Café and The Gardener. As a General Manager with Scotsman Group, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, and driving both financial and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Oversee daily operations and inspire your team to deliver outstanding service and hospitality.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain the highest standards of customer service to exceed guest expectations.
- Staff Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a talented team to create a positive and productive working environment.
- Event Management: Work closely with the events team to organise and execute private functions, live entertainment, and special events.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licencing laws.
- Business Growth: Develop strategies to drive footfall, increase revenue, and maintain Grosvenor Cafe’s reputation as a premier destination.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality industry, preferably within a cafe, restaurant, or bar environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication , organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive , hands-on approach to managing operations and improving efficiency.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
