About the Role
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will play a critical role in building amicable’s business by growing our partnerships to enhance our market presence and help us deliver value to new customers. You will be highly motivated, great at building relationships, a problem solver, who thrives in a fast-paced changing environment.
As a Partnership Manager, you will:
- Help to define and evolve our partnerships strategy, as well as being responsible for its delivery;
- Identify and engage new potential partners by spotting commercial opportunities and establishing relationships through a variety of methods, including managing inbound enquiries, direct outreach, personal network and attending events;
- Nurture a portfolio of partnerships throughout their pipeline journey, from pitching, to building long term relationships with a variety of touchpoints;
- Lead commercial and legal negotiations with potential partners, putting partnership agreements in place;
- Develop our partnership and affiliate program, building attractive and commercially sound propositions which drive business growth;
- Monitor and manage partners, designing innovative solutions to maximise performance and reporting to internal stakeholders;
- Work with other business functions (including sales, marketing, finance and technology) to develop partnership propositions, prepare marketing materials and onboard new partners;
- Prepare and adapt various communications tailored to the audience, including presentations, proposals, and reports;
- Manage internal stakeholders - work alongside the Head of Commercial, CEO, Co-Founder and Head of Brand.
Qualifications
- Previous success in a partnerships role where you were responsible for building and managing a pipeline of partners and input into the development of partnerships strategy;
- A growth mindset to proactively drive forward progress with vision and creativity;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish, develop and maintain relationships as well as tailor communication style to achieve maximum impact upon relevant situations and audience;
- Ability to successfully assess what makes a good commercial partnership and develop the vision for each partner relationship, being able to uncover opportunities using market and product insights;
- Ability to translate vision and ideas into action, with strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and take accountability for your workload;
- Experience of managing the full partner or account life cycle from finding and developing the relationship, negotiating, finalisation of agreement, organising set up, and managing the ongoing relationship;
- Experience of negotiating and working with partnership terms and contracts, to ensure relationships are documented and binding;
- Independence, entrepreneurial flair and ability to adapt and work with ambiguity in a fast-paced scale-up environment;
- Right to work in the UK.
