Subsea7 has an exciting opportunity for graduate level candidates to embark on a three-year Graduate Finance Development Programme (GFDP) based in our Westhill, Aberdeen offices.
Join us and you will enjoy a variety of experiences in Subsea7's key financial departments: Asset Control, Project Cost Control, Corporate Finance, and the Finance Resource Centre (FRC). During this period, you will rotate across each department to gain exposure across a wide range of finance activities through a mix of formal training sessions, on-the-job development, mentoring, and personal development, which will include support in working towards completion of a recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification.
What will the GFDP involve?
- Through on-the-job training you will develop key capabilities related to Financial and Project Accounting through rotations in these functions.
- You will participate in a wide range of activities including the month end cycle, data analysis, financial and management reporting and supporting the wider finance and operational teams in the management of our business activities.
- During this time, you will become proficient in our financial systems and gain experience in wider business processes.
Formal training courses
- This is organised to provide the opportunity to gain deeper insights into some of the key aspects related to Financial and Project Support functions.
- You will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression. The mentor will maintain regular contact with you providing direction to ensure you achieve targets and goals.
What are we looking for?
- You will either be a recent graduate educated to degree level in a relevant finance or accountancy-based qualification or working towards completion of a degree in these subjects in 2025.
- You will be motivated to work towards a recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification, supported by Subsea7.
- You should have good IT skills with ability to work with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in particular.
- You will be a strong collaborator able to work effectively as part of a large team.
- You will be a problem solver, anticipating and finding effective solutions to tasks.
- You will have great attention to detail, with ability to effectively plan and prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines.
