The Role:
We have an open position for a Project Manager to support our Business Transformation Group based in our London office. In this role, you will be responsible for the initiation, design, development, planning, and coordinating the end-to-end process through to the delivery of multiple projects to meet business objectives, working with senior management and supporting Underwriting, Operations, Finance, Actuarial, Information Technology, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to multi-task, managing several inflight project rollouts.
- Managing multiple levels of management stakeholders across different lines of business/support areas functions requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Manage the full end-to-end project lifecycle, including RAID logs, produced plans, schedules, dependencies, defect resolution, change management, and associated presentations and meeting minutes, while tracking the progress of projects and reporting their results.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and project workstreams, as well as third parties, to understand and clarify business needs and ensure these are translated into optimum solutions.
- Ensure that all Business and IT operational areas are ready to accept the change.
- Support stakeholders in the embedding, handover, and closure of projects into business as usual.
- Collaborate with team, business, and technical parties to meet business objectives.
Person Specification:
- 3 years of experience in the London Market Insurance.
- Strong experience of Project Management in the Insurance industry.
- A willingness to be flexible and respond appropriately to changing and/or conflicting demands.
- Strong end-to-end Project Lifecycle experience, using a variety of methodologies.
- Professional, organized, energetic, diplomatic, calm, and pragmatic.
- Creative thinker with a collaborative mindset and a hands-on approach.
- Confident communicator required to work with all people at all levels of the company and eager to learn new skills.
- Foster effective relationships across the business.
- Willing to grasp concepts of a technical nature with a sound understanding of the underlying business environment.
- Computer literate (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Projects, Wrike, Visio, Miro, etc.) and able to pick up new concepts.
