Position Overview
Qualified, creative, and ambitious. Sound like you? As a level 4 qualified therapist/counsellor, this exciting project will involve working with children and young people who are emotionally based school refusers, providing counselling and other therapeutic interventions aimed at helping them return and remain in an education setting or another positive destination. You’ll work in a combination of community settings alone and within schools, delivering Place2Be’s whole school approach, including liaising with teachers, parents, carers, and other agencies as needed.
This role is peripatetic across schools and community in South Ayrshire. We are seeking applicants located within the South Ayrshire area who are able to travel flexibly within the locality as required.
