easyJet wants to build a world-class Commercial function, delivering industry-leading revenue performance across our network. The Lead Trading Manager plays a critical role within our Trading and Revenue Management teams, setting and implementing our trading strategy for the geographical regions to maximise total revenue per seat (RPS).
As the Lead Trading Manager, you'll be at the helm, driving revenue performance in your assigned regions. You won't be alone; you'll lead a dynamic team of Trading Managers and Analysts. Working closely with the Senior Trading Manager, you'll craft winning region-level strategies and steer their execution through the Revenue Management System (RMS) and other commercial avenues.
Keeping your finger on the pulse, you'll track sales trends and bring energy into revenue initiatives that promise a brighter future. You won't just crunch numbers; you'll be a storyteller, communicating regional triumphs to various levels within our organisation.
But that's not all. You'll be the conductor of collaboration, partnering with key stakeholders across our Commercial teams to synchronise efforts and ensure that easyJet rockets past its revenue targets. This isn't just a job; it's a journey, and you're the captain charting the course to success!
As the Lead Trading Manager, your mission is clear, turbocharge revenue in your regions. You'll chart the strategy, mastermind promotions, and boost collaboration across departments. You're the promo pro, teaming up with Marketing and CRM to ignite regional and network-wide promos. You'll craft sharp communication strategies, segmenting for engagement. And tracking results? You're on it. Meetings? You're the conductor, orchestrating Regional Trading Meetings and presenting at Central Trading Meetings. Ad hoc analyses? Consider it done.
Competitive strategies are your specialty. You'll partner with the Senior Trading Manager on revenue-maximizing pricing. You'll stay vigilant on competition and collaborate on corporate-wide strategies. Leading a team is your forte. Each member gets clear objectives and development plans. You'll nurture their skills and ensure a bright future.
What you need to do the role To do this role you need to be a strategic thinker, shaping the vision for commercial success aligned with easyJet's goals. Analytically gifted, you make data-driven decisions and fearlessly experiment with a "test and learn" mentality. Your entrepreneurial spirit, supported by a deep understanding of aviation/travel revenue management, shines in analytics, modelling, business planning, market research, and competition analysis.
You're a challenger, adept at questioning the status quo, even when dealing with senior management. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, fuelled by your tenacity and strong work ethic. As a change agent and leader, you cut through the noise, fostering positive momentum. Collaboration is your forte, whether with internal teams or external partners.
