Alexander James Recruiting has been retained by an international provider of fully automated and semi-automated pallet shuttles seeking an energetic and ambitious individual to assist them in breaking into the UK & European market. With a strategic plan in place and excellent earning potential, this is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a capable sales professional within the warehousing/intralogistics sphere.
Responsibilities
- Develop a key understanding of the company's range of innovative & premium pallet shuttle products
- Form and develop relationships with key warehouse automation integrators, racking & storage manufacturers & distributors, and other routes to market
- Where possible, develop relationships with end users to include OEMs, FMCG, and 3PLs
- Conduct site surveys and detailed quotations in order to sell pallet shuttle systems effectively
- Attend various customer exhibitions and have the flexibility to travel where and when required
Requirements
The company requires an individual who is a self-starter and able to develop relationships successfully via various revenue streams. It is essential you have a strong sales track record from within intralogistics, having worked either in warehouse automation/robotics, racking & storage, material handling, or similar. Knowledge of shuttle systems would be preferable though not essential, but a general warehousing appreciation and the ability to provide a consultative approach is essential.
