Job Description
Referment is working with a global hedge fund who have an exciting opportunity available in their London Desktop Engineering team. This team supports around 450 users including c-level stakeholders, portfolio managers, and quants within the firm.
The Desktop Support Engineer will have at least 2 years' experience supporting Windows Desktop/Server environments and want to work with the latest tools and concepts to continuously improve the company's Desktop environment.
Key Requirements:
- 2-7 years of experience working in a Desktop Support role, ideally in a pressured environment supporting Traders, Brokers, or Portfolio Managers.
- Solid technical understanding of Windows, Citrix, Exchange, Office 365, and Active Directory infrastructures.
- A keen interest in new technologies and how they can work within a desktop environment such as Powershell / Python scripting.
- Excellent communication and confidence when dealing with challenging situations.
