Job Opportunity: Head of HR - UK
I have been retained by my Blackburn based client to lead the search for an exciting new role as Head of HR for the UK business. You will be part of the UK Leadership Team and a key member of the Global HR Team.
As Head of HR, UK you will:
- Develop & implement the UK People Strategy.
- Provide expert guidance to global leaders in supporting the Business in the Middle East & Asia through change.
- Coach & guide various client groups including Sales & Commercial as well as Central Functions.
- Manage talent planning, attraction, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
- Implement and continuously improve HR processes.
- Support leadership on talent development & training programmes, including the development of overseas colleagues.
- Drive organisational effectiveness and employee engagement activities.
- Build high-performing teams, coaching and mentoring managers.
- Oversee project management.
This is an exciting & rewarding opportunity for a proven senior HR generalist looking to make an impact in an established and successful business going through a period of change & growth.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Be a proven HR Generalist in a Head of HR role or equivalent.
- Have experience of supporting global regions/working with global teams.
- Possess experience of organisational & culture change.
My client is looking for a solutions-focused & commercially astute Head of HR, with:
- Sound business partnering and relationship building skills.
- Experience of working in a variety of industries and complex structures.
- Some project management experience and process improvement.
This role will suit an individual who enjoys a blend of hands-on and strategy in a standalone role/with a small team.
Please note: candidates must be based within a commutable distance of Blackburn.
Salary: Up to £90,000 dependent on experience, plus car allowance and bonus.
