This is a great role working for a high-profile telecoms infrastructure company that is looking for a Solution Architect with pre-sales experience and a technical background within Private Networks. This opportunity provides the chance to be involved with expanding this company's Private network offering. The role has very flexible hybrid working based out of London, and there will be some UK travel required to customer sites.
The role will involve providing E2E Solution expertise to the Country team and their customers during the bid and deployment phases of Private Mobile Network projects.
You will participate in the pre-bid stage, developing technical proposals, consultations with strategic partners/vendors, offering preparation, and presenting compelling solutions to customers and key stakeholders. This role involves analysing complex business challenges, translating them into innovative technical proposals, and ensuring tailored and optimal solutions that address industry vertical, customer challenges, and align with their strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer Private Network solution development and design.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical experts to gather customer requirements and understand their business objectives - design innovative solutions based on customer needs that align with their current and future offerings within the private 5G network domain.
- Develop E2E Solution Designs which include:
- 4G, 5GNSA & 5GSA Core Network design
- 4G, 5GNSA & 5GSA RAN design
- IP Transport (Core & Backhaul) IP design
- Device & Use-Case design
What Experience is Needed:
- Extensive experience in mobile network design/solution architecture at a senior level. Private Networks (PN) experience is also required.
- Previous experience in a bid/pre-sales role.
- Knowledge of standard networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, IP Routing (BGP, IS-IS OSPF), TCP/IP, IPv6, and load balancing.
