Independent Merchants and Buying Groups
Location: Nationwide
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and car
We are a privately owned business with huge growth ambitions. Over the last decade, we have grown a very successful multi-million-pound business that specializes in roofing products.
As the merchant market is a new sector for us, we are trying to increase our market presence by joining trade organizations to support this initiative.
The newly created role of National Sales Manager – Independents and Buying Groups is part of our growth plan to increase our market share and establish multiple routes to market.
The focus of the role will be to identify all buying groups and independent merchants that would benefit from stocking our products. You will devise a business plan to assess the market and enter into agreements with the appropriate buying groups and merchants. Additionally, you will map out all independents that are not part of buying groups and create a targeted approach.
After establishing buying group deals, you will recruit a national sales team to support a nationwide rollout and will be responsible for managing this team.
