Our client is a large-scale entity in the manufacturing and production industry, with offices across the North including Greater Manchester, they employ over 1,000 employees nationally and are looking for a Head of Bid Management to join their growing bids function.
Job Description
- Lead and manage the bid process from opportunity identification through to contract award
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of compelling bids
- Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to company bid management processes
- Provide leadership and guidance to bid teams
- Review and improve bid management practices
- Conduct post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the bid team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Bid Management should have:
- 8+ years experience in Bid Management
- Experience working no public sector and private bids
- Proven experience in leading successful bid teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop strategic relationships
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
