Salary £34,000 & £2,000 Welcome Bonus
We design and build a full range of naval ships from offshore patrol vessels through to giant aircraft carriers, giving customers the capability to fulfil extensive naval operations around the world. We are the only provider of complex warships and their combat managements to the UK Royal Navy’s surface fleet.

What you will be doing
Take responsibility for creating cutting-edge software for our hardware and be involved in the entire lifecycle of a product, from design and development to integration. Work closely with both Electronic and Systems engineers to enable the development of complex real-world systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Production of software architectures and designs based on each ship’s requirements.
- Implementation of requirements and design utilising a variety of programming languages and tools.
- Design and development of software tests to prove a number of qualities including functionality, robustness, performance.
- Testing and integration of software and target hardware.
- Support of lifecycle and product maturity activities such as design reviews.
Skills
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computing or Software Engineering.
